Sweet Summertime..

Here is a wonderful poem, presented in its english translation as it was written by German Paul Gerhardt in 1653.  

The audio link below (voices in German) as presented by The Regensburger Domspatzen (literally: Regensburg Cathedral Sparrows), the cathedral choir at the Regensburg Cathedral in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany. This choir dates back to 976, and consists of boys and young men only; It claims to be the oldest choir in the world.

Biblical Foundations teacher Christopher Martin's lesson Sunday entitled:

"Why do bad things happen to good people?" from his continuing series on "The Life & Teaching of Paul".  

Chris took the class on a guided visual 

tour of Rome during the time of Nero, while exploring some of the details surrounding Paul's second arrest and a discussion on the Mamertinum Prison and why Paul's letter would not have been written there.  You don't want to miss tomorrow when Chris teaches from 2 Timothy.
