Yahweh Yireh—The Lord Will Provide
This month our class focus is on the powerful name of God, Yahweh Yireh—“The Lord Will Provide.” In every season of life, He is faithful to meet our deepest needs through His perfect wisdom and timing. Our memory verse for August, Isaiah 53:5, reminds us of the greatest provision of all:
“But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed.”
Let’s hide this truth in our hearts together and trust in the God who provides.
This Sunday = Muffins & Memories:
Sending Off Brooks & Marianne with Love
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. — Psalm 121:8
This Sunday, our Foundations family will take time before class to celebrate Brooks and Marianne as they prepare for their move to Dallas. Please bring a note or card to share your special thoughts and memories of their time in our fellowship and ministries together. We’ll gather with muffins, warm wishes, and prayer—sending them off on their new journey with the sweet reminder of how deeply they are loved and how much they will be missed.

God’s Blueprint for the Family | Colossians 3:18–21
This past Sunday, Jeff Pennington guided us through Colossians 3:18–21, a powerful passage on God’s design for the family. We explored how wives, husbands, children, and fathers each have a role that reflects Christ’s love and order in the home. The lesson reminded us that a Christ-centered family can be one of our strongest witnesses to the world.
If you missed it, or want to revisit the message, be sure to watch the video linked below and be encouraged by God’s blueprint for the family.
Living for Christ in Everyday Life | Colossians 3:22-4:18
This Sunday, Rand Wall will guide us through Colossians 3:22–4:18, where Paul applies the gospel to our daily lives. From the workplace to our relationships, Paul reminds us that Christ’s lordship shapes how we serve, lead, and witness to the world around us. This passage also closes with Paul’s personal words of encouragement and prayer, showing us how faith impacts every part of life. Come ready to learn how our ordinary actions can bear extraordinary testimony to Christ. Don’t miss this powerful lesson—bring a friend and discover how living for Christ transforms both our homes and our communities.
