Home in Glory: Honoring the Life and Faith of

Michael Mann

Michael Mann, beloved member of our Foundations Life Bible Study Class, entered the presence of His Savior on November 28, 2025. Born on July 2, 1949, Michael walked faithfully with Christ, and our class rejoiced together as he publicly declared his faith in baptism on July 10, 2022—a moment many of us remember with deep gratitude.

Michael and his wife Adriana have long been part of the heart and fabric of our class family. Their smiles, warmth, and quiet faithfulness have blessed us through the years, leaving behind memories we will treasure.

As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the glorious truth that Michael is now fully healed, fully whole, and fully home with Jesus. What a comfort to know he has stepped into the joy of his eternal hope.

Please keep Adriana in your prayers in the days ahead. We will share service details as they become available. Until then, may we surround her with love, encouragement, and the peace Christ alone provides.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." —Psalm 116:15

Candlelight & Community: A Thanksgiving to Remember

On Wednesday, November 27, our class had the privilege of serving a special candlelight Thanksgiving dinner at Street Church. Amidst the soft glow, we shared hot turkey, homemade pie, and genuine fellowship with our neighbors. It was a beautiful reminder that the best part of the holiday isn’t the food—it’s the people you share it with. Thank you to everyone who helped bring light and love to the table!

Ancient Starlight: The Story of Redemption Written Above

On Sunday, Rand Wall guided us through a breathtaking tour of the night sky, revealing how the constellations may have preached the Gospel to Adam and Eve long before it was written in a book. We moved beyond modern astrology to see the original, divine story woven into the stars.

Virgo (The Virgin): The story begins here, with the virgin holding a "Branch"—a celestial promise of the seed who would come.

Libra (The Scales): In the scales, we saw a profound truth: one star signifies the "price deficient" (us), while the upper star signifies the "price which covers" (Christ's redemption). We also learned that the Southern Cross (Crux) was once visible from Jerusalem, marking the Lamb slain for us.

Scorpio (The Scorpion): While the scorpion represents the enemy and the wounding of the heel, the signs above it declare victory. We saw Ophiuchus restraining the serpent and Hercules, the mighty one, who cleanses the "filthy stables" of our hearts just as Jesus cleanses us with His blood.

As Rand reminded us, these stars aren't just distant lights; they are a proclamation of God's glory and His plan to save us.

Join Us for the Next Chapter! Don't miss the next installment of this fascinating series as we turn our eyes to Sagittarius the Archer. We look forward to seeing you there!
