On Sunday, both live from the classroom at HFBC campus & live streaming on our youtube channel, Rand Wall, taught a special edition lesson, entitled:

"The Church at Antioch"

(Acts 11:19-30)

Here is the Jewish blessing Rand Wall promised to share during his lesson on Sunday that he prays over a meal when in public where his Jewish friends might be:

"Blessed art Thou, O Lord our God, King of the Universe, who bringeth forth food and wine from the earth. "

Just for fun, here is that first phrase in Hebrew, Barukh Attah Adonai Eloheinu Melekh ha-Olam ("Blessed art Thou, O Lord our God, King of the Universe"). If you hear a Jew reciting that, now you will know what they are saying.

After class lunch gave the Biblical Foundations class an opportunity to put into practice some of the points of Rand's lesson, due to out of the norm service at Fuzzy's. A number of unplanned absences of staff created a need for patron patience. Our class members rose up to the occasion, In fact, we witnessed some of our class step up and joyfully provide service to others - it was a wonderful sight to see!

Hunt Adult II Leadership Retreat - Saturday, July 31 from 11am - 2:30pm

ALL of the Adult ll Directors and Teachers have been invited; BUT, this invitation has been extended to those from our class that are interested in leadership.

The goal of our time at the Hunt Retreat is to play, eat, and re-connect with our great team PLUS take some time to cast vision and pray for the future of our great Adult II LBS classes.
