Christ Alone: The Mystery Revealed, the Debt Erased
This past Sunday, Danny Reid led our class through Colossians 2:15–23 with a powerful reminder: Christ has disarmed every spiritual force and triumphed over them at the cross. With passion and clarity, Danny emphasized Paul’s warning to the Colossians—and to us—not to be taken captive by legalism, self-righteousness, or manmade traditions.
Through relatable examples and heartfelt teaching, Danny highlighted the dangers of elevating personal preferences to spiritual mandates. Whether it’s Sabbath practices, baptism methods, or music styles, he reminded us that anything shifting our focus away from Jesus is a shadow—not the substance.
In a world of distractions and doctrinal confusion, we were encouraged to return to the simplicity and power of our faith in Christ—who alone is our hope, our victory, and our freedom.
Watch the lesson again to be reminded why in Christ, “It is finished”—and nothing can cheat us out of our eternal reward.
Above All Else: Living the New Life in Christ
This Sunday, Rand Wall will teach from Colossians 3:1–11—a powerful call to live with our hearts set on things above. As Paul urges believers to put off the old self and put on the new, Rand will explore what it truly means to let Christ be the standard of right and wrong in our lives.
This lesson shifts the focus from external rules to internal transformation, emphasizing personal holiness, authentic Christian ethics, and unity in Christ. Whether you've walked with Christ for decades or are still finding your footing, this message will challenge and encourage you.
Don’t miss this inspiring lesson on growing in Christlike character—where old habits are shed, and new life begins.
More Than a Meal: Fellowship at Its Finest
Sixteen women gathered at Adair Kitchen on July 24—not just for lunch, but for connection. In the midst of crisp salads and sweet laughter, hearts were nourished as much as plates were filled. True fellowship happens when faith and friendship meet around the table—and this was one of those days.
Don’t miss the next gathering—
There’s always room at the table—come join the fellowship!
Encore Fall Dinner: An Evening to Savor—Together
Imagine this: the room is filled with laughter, the smell of a delicious meal drifts through the air, and the voices of the Dignity Gospel Quartet rise in rich harmony. It’s more than just dinner—it’s a night to slow down, to reconnect, and to celebrate the goodness of God… together.

Christ Alone: The Mystery Revealed, the Debt Erased
Sunday, Jeff Pennington delivered a soul-stirring lesson on Colossians 2:1–14—now available to watch online.
With wisdom, clarity, and heartfelt conviction, Jeff walked us through the Apostle Paul’s message to the Colossians: Christ is sufficient—completely and eternally. In a culture that craves deeper knowledge and spiritual shortcuts, this message reminds us that everything we need is found in Jesus.
False teachers may offer hidden mysteries and persuasive arguments, but Paul declares—and Jeff powerfully echoes—that the fullness of God dwells in Christ, and through Him, we are made whole. The debt of sin? Nailed to the cross. The confusion of man’s teaching? Silenced by the simplicity of the gospel.
Jeff’s lesson is more than teaching—it’s a call to rest in the finished work of Christ and walk with gratitude, truth, and strength.
Ready to be encouraged?
Watch the full message now and be reminded: It is Christ and Christ alone.
Victory at the Cross:
Don’t Let Anyone Rob You of It!
This week, Danny Reid will guide us through Colossians 2:15–23, where Paul declares Christ’s total victory over every spiritual power. We’ll explore how legalism, mysticism, and man-made religion still threaten to steal our freedom—but Paul’s message rings clear: Christ is enough. Come ready to be reminded that your salvation is secure, your hope is real, and your victory is already won at the cross.

One Nation Under God: Stories That Still Speak
In Sunday’s lesson, Our Foundations Class celebrated Independence Day with a powerful and interactive lesson: One Nation Under God: The Faith that Formed Us. Four groups brought American history to life by sharing faith-filled stories from Robert Morgan’s 100 Bible Verses That Made America.
From the McGuffey Readers to John Jay’s biblical convictions… from revival fire on college campuses to President Truman’s courageous stand for Israel—each vignette showed how God's Word shaped hearts and history.
You won’t want to miss this!
Watch the full video and be inspired by the stories, the scriptures, and the voices of your fellow class members as they remind us what it truly means to be One Nation Under God.
Chains Broken, Debts Canceled: Walk in the Power of Christ
This Sunday, Jeff Pennington brings to life the message of Colossians 2:1–14—a passage that stirs the soul with the assurance that in Christ, all treasures of wisdom are found, all chains are broken, and every debt of sin is canceled. Paul’s heartfelt struggle for the believers in Colossae is as relevant today as ever. Come hear how the mystery of Christ reveals a love that cuts away our old nature and raises us to new life. This is not just doctrine—this is transformation. Don’t miss it.

This Independence Day, the Foundations Life Bible Study Class celebrates more than America’s 249th birthday—we celebrate the freedom found in faith.
The stars and stripes remind us of sacrifice and strength. The 249 candles on the cake symbolize each year God has sustained this nation. As believers, we’re grateful to live in a country where we can worship freely and stand on the truth of God’s Word.
Let’s commit to passing that legacy on.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! – Psalm 33:12
Happy 249th, America—from all of us in Foundations. Let freedom ring, and let faith lead.
