This Independence Day, the Foundations Life Bible Study Class celebrates more than America’s 249th birthday—we celebrate the freedom found in faith.
The stars and stripes remind us of sacrifice and strength. The 249 candles on the cake symbolize each year God has sustained this nation. As believers, we’re grateful to live in a country where we can worship freely and stand on the truth of God’s Word.
Let’s commit to passing that legacy on.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! – Psalm 33:12
Happy 249th, America—from all of us in Foundations. Let freedom ring, and let faith lead.

The Hope Within: Christ in You, the Power to Endure
In Sunday’s lesson, Bill Wright walked us through Colossians 1:18b–29, unveiling the incredible truth that Christ in you is not just a phrase—it’s the very foundation of our hope and strength.
With clarity and conviction, Bill shared how Christ’s indwelling power enables us to endure trials, serve with purpose, and live with joy—even when life gets hard.

This Sunday, we step into history and Scripture as we explore the powerful intersection of faith and the founding of our nation. From the convictions of early patriots like John Jay to the miracle of Israel’s rebirth and the spark of America’s Great Awakenings, we’ll reflect on how God has used individuals and events to shape nations.
Come be stirred by stories of courage, conviction, and divine providence—and see how your voice still matters in the legacy of liberty and truth.
