Christ Is Enough: A Review of Colossians with Bill Wright

This past Sunday, Bill Wright led our class in a rich review of the book of Colossians. Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae reminds us of four powerful truths: the supremacy of Christ, the sufficiency of His work, the completeness we have in Him, and the call to set our hearts on things above. Bill encouraged us to remember that nothing needs to be added to Christ’s perfect plan—He alone is enough. As we live in His freedom, guided by the Holy Spirit, we are called to reflect His love and grow in spiritual maturity. If you missed this inspiring review, be sure to watch the full lesson video and be reminded of the hope and fullness we have in Christ.

Truth Talk Returns:
A Fresh Journey into Psalm 23
This Sunday, the Foundations Class launches a brand-new study series on one of the most beloved passages in Scripture—Psalm 23. Richard and Butch will team up once again to bring us another engaging episode of Truth Talk, presented in podcast talk-show style. Expect a blend of history, humor, heartfelt stories, and practical takeaways as we explore what it means to walk with the Shepherd through every season of life. This opening session will set the stage for six weeks of in-depth teaching, each verse unfolding with fresh insight and encouragement. Don’t miss this exciting kickoff—come ready to listen, learn, and be renewed by the timeless truth that “The Lord is my Shepherd.”

The next stop on the Men’s BBQ Trail is set for September 25 at 11:20 AM at Goode Co. BBQ, located at 8911 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77024. Trail Boss Richard has lined up another mouthwatering adventure, so come hungry and ready for great food and even better fellowship. Whether you’re a BBQ enthusiast or just looking to connect with the group, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some Texas-style barbecue and share a few laughs. Don't miss out on the fun—mark your calendars and bring a friend!
