Making Room for the Message
This Sunday, Foundations will meet in Room 258 as our usual rehearsal room is being fully used by the Music Ministry preparing the Christmas production DREAM.
As Jeff Baumgartner shared, this presentation tells a beautiful story that ultimately points to the greatest gift of Christmas—the hope and peace found only in Jesus.
Thank you for your flexibility as we gladly make room for a ministry that will impact our church and community this Christmas season.
Pastor's Message Sunday December 7, 2025:
The Kingdom Is Like: Part 3 -
God Is On The Move!
Message Notes:Lesson Recap —
The Gospel in the Stars, Lesson 3
Judgment, Sacrifice, Living Water: The Sky Tells the Story
Taught by Rand Wall | Foundations Life Bible Study | December 8, 2025
In Lesson 3 of The Gospel in the Stars, Rand Wall guided the Foundations Class deeper into God’s celestial storyline, showing how the constellations proclaim Christ’s victory, sacrifice, and life-giving Spirit. This week’s journey moved through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and their accompanying constellations, revealing a unified gospel message written long before Scripture was bound in print.
Rand highlighted Sagittarius the Archer as a vivid picture of Christ—the God-Man—aiming His arrow directly at the heart of the enemy, declaring that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. From there, Capricorn the Sea-Goat portrayed the profound mystery of atonement: a dying sacrifice that yet lives, pointing unmistakably to Christ’s death and resurrection.
The lesson then turned toward hope and renewal with Aquarius the Water Bearer, illustrating the outpouring of the Holy Spirit—“rivers of living water”—flowing to God’s people. This life-giving stream feeds the fish, a powerful reminder of the early church and the Ichthus symbol—Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior—used by believers to quietly confess their faith in a hostile world.
Throughout the lesson, Rand emphasized a central truth: the stars do not control our destiny—but they do declare God’s redemptive plan. From judgment to grace, from sacrifice to salvation, the heavens continue to proclaim the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
A compelling reminder that night after night, the sky still tells His story.
This Week!: The Sky Grows Louder —
Don’t Miss Lesson 4 of The Gospel in the Stars
This Sunday, Rand Wall guides us into one of the most powerful movements in the celestial story.
As the heavens continue their silent proclamation, Lesson 4 carries us from the upheld Church to the exalted Lamb—and then to the sobering vision of Christ as Irresistible Judge. Through Pisces, Aries, and Taurus, the storyline accelerates: the Church bound yet preserved, the Lamb who redeems and reigns, and the coming moment when mercy gives way to righteous judgment.
This is not astronomy for curiosity’s sake—it is theology written in starlight. You’ll see unity, redemption, deliverance, and final victory woven together across the constellations, revealing a gospel message that has been overhead since creation.
If you’ve been intrigued so far, this lesson is a turning point. Come ready to be amazed, challenged, and anchored in the majesty of Christ revealed in the heavens

Who Needs a New Direction in 2026?
An Invitation to Discover What Truly Matters
As a new year approaches, many of us feel life nudging us to look deeper — to ask the questions that don’t go away: What truly matters? What will last? What gives meaning to the years we’ve lived… and the years still ahead?
And chances are, someone in your life is asking those same questions. A friend, a neighbor, a family member — someone who feels stuck, uncertain, or simply longing for a clearer sense of purpose.
Our new study, The Lasting Things, will walk us through Ecclesiastes, a book where Solomon reflects honestly on joy, sorrow, success, regret, and the search for meaning. His words speak powerfully to anyone seeking direction and hope as they step into a new year.
Would you begin praying about who might need this invitation? Sometimes a simple “come with me” can change the course of a life.
Join us — and consider bringing someone with you — on Sunday, January 18, 2026, as we begin this meaningful journey together.
Because in the end… it’s the lasting things that matter most.
