Step Into Spring… and
Discover The Lasting Things

As golden light breaks through the trees and the path unfolds ahead, we’re reminded that every new season is an invitation—to walk forward with purpose, perspective, and hope.

This spring, our Foundations Bible Study Class is journeying together through “The Lasting Things: A Study in Ecclesiastes.” In a world that often feels fleeting, Ecclesiastes gently calls us back to what truly endures—what is refined, tested, and lasting… like gold.

Just as the golden glow in this scene reflects beauty shaped by light, God is at work in us—quietly refining our hearts, renewing our perspective, and reminding us that life’s greatest treasures are not what we hold, but what holds us.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or are looking for a place to grow and connect, this is a perfect time to step onto the path with us.

Join us this Sunday as we pursue together… the lasting things.

Pastor’s message March 15,

The Lord's Supper

Pastor Gregg reminded us, The Lord's Supper serves three purposes: remembering Christ's death, prompting self-examination, and anticipating His return. Only believers in Jesus Christ should participate, as you cannot meaningfully remember someone you don't know.

The God of Time:
Finding Purpose in Every Season

This past Sunday, March 15, Rand Wall led our Foundations Bible Study Class through Ecclesiastes 3:9–15 with a powerful reminder: our time is not random—it is divinely appointed. God “has made everything appropriate in its time” and has even “set eternity in our hearts,” giving our lives both purpose and perspective.

This Sunday, March 22, Bill Wright will guide the Foundations Bible Study Class through Ecclesiastes 3:16–4:16 in a lesson titled “The Troubles of Life.”

In a world where injustice often seems to win, where the oppressed feel forgotten, and where success can still leave us empty, Solomon pulls back the curtain on life “under the sun.” From wickedness in places of justice to the loneliness of success and the grind of comparison, this passage speaks honestly about the struggles we all see—and sometimes feel.

But this is not a message of despair. It is a call to see beyond the brokenness—to trust that God has a time for judgment, a purpose in the struggle, and a better way forward. Through it all, we discover that true strength is found not in striving alone, but in walking with God and alongside others.

Join us as we explore how to navigate life’s troubles with faith, perspective, and lasting hope.

Brisket and Brotherhood:
The BBQ Trail Stops at Pizzitola’s

Foundations men, saddle up for the next stop on the Men’s BBQ Trail! Trail Boss Richard is leading the charge to Pizzitola’s Heritage BBQ on March 26 at 11:20 AM—a Houston legend that’s been smoking meat on historic brick pits since 1935. In fact, Pizzitola’s is so historic that it’s actually older than some of the men in our class.

Their recipe is beautifully simple: salt, pepper, fire, and Texas post oak. Translation: put the sauce bottle down and trust the 90-year-old process.

One local review even claims Pizzitola’s beats the famous Truth BBQ—and the best part? No line. For a group of hungry men on a mission, those may be the most encouraging words ever spoken.

Bring an empty stomach, invite a neighbor who might be easily persuaded by brisket queso or brisket enchiladas, and join us around a table seasoned with nearly a century of Texas smoke.

Just remember—on the BBQ Trail, small group discussion is often the peaceful sound of brisket and ribs being munched… until someone looks at Trail Boss Richard and suggests ordering another plate in order to extend the discussion.

Explore the Mystery: Shroud of Turin Exhibit
Foundations Class, we wanted to make you aware of a unique event coming to Grace Fellowship. From March 29 – April 5, the church will host the “Who Is the Man of the Shroud?” exhibit in the new Discipleship Building.

This museum-quality experience features a full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin alongside archaeological artifacts and presentations from renowned biblical scholars. It is a powerful opportunity to engage with the historical and scientific evidence surrounding the crucifixion.

The exhibit is free, but timed entry reservations are required. You can learn more and book your slot at this link: View Event Details & Register Here

Walking Together Through Future Grace

This month we pause to review Section I from February and look ahead to Section II: Free and Future Grace for March. Together we are learning that grace is not only God’s gift for the past, but His strength for the days still ahead.

March’s reading points us toward deeper dependence on the Lord, reminding us that His grace is sufficient for weary hearts, humble faith, and every step yet to come.
