Lesson Highlight: The Sixth Commandment –

"Do Not Murder"

Sunday, Sam and Noel Gray led a powerful and memorable lesson on the Sixth Commandment: “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). Blending biblical truth with personal stories—and even a few sweet surprises—they helped us see how this commandment reaches far beyond physical acts. Jesus taught that anger, hatred, and contempt in the heart are just as serious (Matthew 5:21–22).

Their teaching reminded us that every human life is sacred, created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). We were challenged to examine our hearts, pursue reconciliation, and live as peacemakers who reflect God’s love.

Key Takeaway: Murder begins in the heart. Christ calls us to let go of anger, forgive freely, and reflect His love in our actions.

"If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." — Romans 12:18
