 The Lasting Things:
Wisdom for Living Well and Finishing Faithful

This Sunday, January 18, we begin a new Foundations lesson series, The Lasting Things, a thoughtful journey through the book of Ecclesiastes. Written with honesty, depth, and hope, Ecclesiastes asks the questions many of us ponder later in life: What truly matters? What endures? How do we live wisely with the years God has given us?

Together, we’ll explore Solomon’s timeless reflections on work, pleasure, time, legacy, and faith—cutting through what is temporary to discover what is eternal. This series invites us to live with clarity, humility, and joy, grounding our days in reverence for God and purpose that lasts beyond a lifetime.

Come ready to reflect, discuss, and be encouraged as we seek the lasting things—and learn how to finish well.

Here is a video to share:

Pastor's Message Sunday January 11, 2026:
The Last Days: Part 2 Waiting Faithfully

This Week Pastor Gregg began a New Series:
The Last Days Part 1 – Knowing the Signs

From Virgo to Leo — The Stars Declare Christ’s Final Victory

In the final lesson of The Gospel in the Stars, Rand Wall led us to the magnificent conclusion of a story God has been telling since creation. Beginning with Psalm 19, we were reminded that the heavens continually proclaim the glory of God—silently, universally, and faithfully.

Tracing the celestial narrative from Virgo to Leo, Rand showed how each constellation points not to astrology or fortune-telling, but to the person and work of Jesus Christ: His birth, sacrifice, resurrection, secure hold on His people, and ultimate triumph as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Along the way, vivid images—the Cross, the Shepherd’s sheepfolds, the ship safely in harbor, and the crushing of the serpent—reassured us that our future is not uncertain, but firmly held by Christ.

The lesson closed with a memorable declaration of faith and witness: When asked, “What sign were you born under?” the believer can answer, “I’ve been born twice—under the sign of the Cross.” It was a fitting and worship-filled conclusion, leaving us with confidence, peace, and awe that the God who names the stars also knows us, holds us, and has secured our eternal victory in Christ.
