Faith in Motion
From the Pew to the Pavement

There are moments when faith calls us to step beyond comfort—and this is one of them.

Street Church is more than an event; it’s an invitation to live out what we believe. On Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 PM, our Foundations class will gather at a new location in the heart of Houston to serve, worship, and bring hope to our neighbors. The goal is simple but powerful: welcome and care for 150 people—not just with food, but with presence, prayer, and genuine love.

This is where faith becomes visible.
Where worship moves beyond songs into service.
Where we stop counting heads and start reaching hearts.

As we step into this opportunity, remember: sometimes the greatest impact happens not inside the walls—but out on the streets where people are searching for light.

Let’s go together—serving, loving, and shining Christ.

Pastor’s message April 12:

Plan of Plans: The Great Commission

Pastor Gregg’s April 12 message brought the Great Commission into sharp focus—Jesus has all authority, the gospel is for all people, we are to share all truth, and He is always with us.

The challenge was clear: don’t hesitate—step into the mission. Right where God has placed you, begin to pray, care, and share, trusting Him to work through you.

We may not feel ready, but the play has already been called.
The question is—will we run it?

When “More” Isn’t Enough:
The Search for True Satisfaction

What if having everything still left you empty?

This week, Sam Gray led the Foundations Class through Ecclesiastes 6, delivering a powerful reminder that wealth, success, and possessions cannot satisfy the human heart apart from God. With personal stories and practical insight, Sam highlighted how it’s possible to gain so much—yet still lack the ability to truly enjoy it.

The takeaway was clear: contentment isn’t found in what we have, but in trusting the One who provides it. When we stop chasing “more” and start resting in God’s sufficiency, we experience a deeper, lasting joy.

Are we enjoying God’s blessings—or just managing them?

The Strange Wisdom of Hard Things

We spend life chasing joy and avoiding pain—but what if we’ve got it backwards?

In Ecclesiastes 7:1–15, Solomon delivers a surprising truth: the hard moments we avoid may be the very ones that shape us most. Sorrow can deepen wisdom, and adversity can strengthen faith in ways comfort never can.

Join Paul and Cyndi Nielsen this Sunday as they unpack “The Strange Wisdom of Hard Things” and show how God uses both the highs and the hardships for our good.

Don’t miss the wisdom found in life’s toughest moments.

Walking Together Through Future Grace

This month we pause to review Section I from February and look ahead to Section II: Free and Future Grace for March. Together we are learning that grace is not only God’s gift for the past, but His strength for the days still ahead.

March’s reading points us toward deeper dependence on the Lord, reminding us that His grace is sufficient for weary hearts, humble faith, and every step yet to come.
