Green Pastures & Still Waters — Psalm 23:2 with Bill Wright
Last Sunday, our Foundations Class gathered as Bill Wright led us through Psalm 23:2—showing how the Good Shepherd provides rest we can’t manufacture on our own. From a relatable story about a hectic morning to rich insights on sheep and shepherds, Bill unpacked why “green pastures” point to daily dependence and how “still waters” invite an unhurried life with God. He also challenged us to listen for the Shepherd’s voice and pursue peace in our relationships.

Restored and Guided:
Discovering the Shepherd’s Path
Rand Wall Teaches Psalm 23:3
This Sunday, our class will journey into one of the most soul-stirring verses in all of Scripture: “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake” (Psalm 23:3). Rand Wall will open the Word and unfold how our Shepherd not only revives us when we are weary but also faithfully guides us into holy living—for His glory.
From the vivid picture of a “cast sheep” helpless without the shepherd’s rescue, to the assurance that God’s guidance is always trustworthy, Psalm 23:3 speaks to every season of life. Restoration isn’t just about comfort—it’s about renewal, repentance, and redirection. And the paths He leads us on are not shortcuts, but secure ways shaped by His wisdom and love.
Don’t miss this week’s lesson—your soul will be encouraged, your steps steadied, and your vision lifted to the glory of God’s name.
“A Living Word Preview”
Along with Rand’s teaching on Psalm 23:3 this Sunday, he is sharing a powerful video short where a speaker recites the entire Psalm 23, offering fresh insights at each line. It’s a moving reminder that the Shepherd’s care is complete—from green pastures to paths of righteousness, from valleys to overflowing cups. Take a moment to watch and let the words prepare your heart:
